Ecclesiastical will share research from their Charity Risk Barometer 2020 highlighting the changing profile of risk and opportunity within the charity sector. In light of the impact Covid-19 has had on society the challenges faced by the sector and the need to adapt can be daunting. They will therefore go on to explore the use of an enterprise risk management framework to make these challenges more manageable and maximise opportunity while mitigating the risks.

 

Speakers

Angus Roy CMIRM, Charity Niche Director at Ecclesiastical Insurance Company

Angus is responsible for the development and performance of the charity and charitable care accounts. He is also a member of the underwriting leadership team.
Prior to joining ecclesiastical Insurance, Angus held a number of high profile roles in operational, risk control and underwriting functions over his 25 years in the insurance industry.

Qualifications: ACII qualified and BA (Hons) in Risk Management. He brings with him a wealth of practical knowledge and experience in risk control, occupational safety & health, business continuity combined with experience of the charity sector.


Steph Jackson CIRM, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Consultant at Ecclesiastical Insurance Company

A risk and compliance professional with 18 years of experience working in the financial services and insurance industry including 13 years in risk management positions. A proven track record of successfully working internally and alongside key partnership organisations in the delivery of enterprise risk management, change management risk and compliance risk objectives.

Qualifications: BA(Hons), Certificate in Digital Risk, Certificate in Risk Management in Financial Services, International Certificate in Risk Management, Certificate in Financial Crime Awareness, Certificate in Training Practice, and Diploma in UK Compliance.
