BACKGROUND

 

 

 

 

Jeremy Colman studied mathematics at Cambridge both as an undergraduate and a postgraduate, and took a maths degree in Management Science at Imperial College. He joined the National Audit Office in July 1993 and became an Assistant Auditor General in January 1999. Prior to joining the Office, he was a partner in Price Waterhouse, based in the firm's Prague office as Head of Corporate Finance. Previously he had been a Director in a major investment bank. Earlier in his career he was the head of a public enterprises division in HM Treasury. He has specific responsibility for the audits of Health and associated agencies, and for the value for money audits of PFI/PPP projects. He also has responsibility for internal and external corporate communications.
