Further to the release of IRM’s guidance paper on Risk Appetite and Risk Tolerance in September 2011, and the success of the workshop on 8 December 2011, Richard Anderson of Crowe Horwath Global Risk Consulting in partnership with IRM will be running a further one day workshop on the subject.
Risk appetite and risk tolerance is on the agenda for all boards, both because of the changes to the UK Corporate Governance Code, and also because of the tough economic conditions that we are all facing in day-to-day trading. Getting the risk appetite framework right is seen as an increasingly important aspect of setting an ERM framework for organisations of all descriptions, whether publicly traded or in the public sector.
