Vodafone is looking for a Deputy Group Insurance & Risk Manager to assist in the provision of advice on Group risk protection strategies, including the execution of risk financing and insurance purchase for the Group. Bringing credible expertise to the role, you will also support Operating Company’s (OpCos) with Risk and Insurance related matters.

The role of Deputy Group Insurance & Risk Manager will be a key position within the Group Treasury team.

As a Deputy Group Insurance & Risk Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

• Building, developing and maintaining relationships with both key internal contacts within OpCos and with brokers/insurers
• Carrying out annual risk and insurance review meetings with OpCos, including meeting with senior level management
• Improving efficiency of operation by continually looking for new and innovative process and procedural enhancements
• Managing queries and requests for additional cover with insurers, including the Group’s insurance company in Malta
• Working with the Group Risk and Insurance Manager to identify areas where savings may be achieved

As a Deputy Group Insurance & Risk Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• A Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Insurance (not essential)
• A Diploma from the Institute of Risk Management (not essential)
• Strong experience in a risk or insurance environment
• Experience of Word and PowerPoint, with strong proficiency in Excel
