NCH works with more children and young people than any other UK charity. The Corporate Resources Unit, reporting to the Chief Executive, has responsibility for a number of corporate functions including risk, business continuity and planning, insurance, data protection and company secretarial.  

The Risk and Business Review manager is a new post within the Unit and you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring our risk management strategy, promoting risk awareness, ensuring cost effective and appropriate insurance cover and for overseeing business continuity and planning. You will also be responsible for ensuring that NCH has an effective business planning process, enabling corporate performance to be monitored.

With an appropriate risk management qualification and with the ability to advise and take the lead on risk, insurance and business continuity, you’ll establish positive working relationships with managers and peers, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise and have the ability to analyse complex data, and trends, and produce corporate management reports.

The location of this post is flexible, and could be based from home. Interview will be held in London week commencing 30th June 2008.
