This is a good opportunity for someone who wants a career in risk management, working alongside an experienced risk manager. You will be required to assist with implementation and embedding risk management across the MRC together with delivering relevant training.

You will assist senior managers with all aspects of Risk Management. In addition they will be required to manage the DNV contract - the MRC’s Risk Management system provider.

You will ensure that the MRC has a professional approach to audit and ensures that the Audit Committee is run professionally and smoothly. You will be educated to at least A Level standard (or equivalent) with experience of a previous management role, and committee work, preferably within the public sector together with previous exposure to Risk Management. A qualification in Risk Management, or working towards one, would be advantegous. Excellent communication (both written and oral) and good presentation and IT skills are required.
