Imperial College is ranked the fifth best university in the world (Times Higher QS World University Rankings 2007) and is a world leader across a broad spectrum of Science, Technology and Medicine.
If you are ready for the challenges this brings then we would be interested in discussing how your skills could help us develop our risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery plans and processes.
The Assistant Risk Manager is a new post to assist The Director of Risk Management who is based in the Human Resources Division at our South Kensington campus. This is very much a “hands-on” role and there are very close day-to-day working links with colleagues from across the whole college spectrum which will require some travelling to our other sites in London, Kent and Berkshire.
The post has been established to enhance the advice available on risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery and provide an appropriate level of review and development in these key areas.
The post holder will play a major role in reviewing and developing risk registers, disaster recovery plans, the testing of those plans, and developing the College’s business continuity arrangements. Building on the successes achieved to date, he or she will identify opportunities to enhanced the value such processes bring to the College’s strategic themes and objectives.
