We are looking for a Risk Management Officer to assist with the delivery of the Council's operational risk management strategy. 

A key part of your role will be to work across the authority to ensure that all risks are identified and mitigated.

Whilst a previous background in operational risk management would be advantageous, this is not essential as we will support you through training leading to an appropriate qualification.

This post represents an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with relevant skills wishing to pursue a career in public sector risk management.

Good communication and presentation skills are essential, together with an ability to influence a range of audiences. 

Most of all we are looking for a keen interest in risk issues in the public sector and the ability to develop with the role.
