Examination day arrangements

The IRM holds winter and summer examinations for the Certificate and currently summer examinations only for the Diploma.

The examination day arrangements for all centres (except those with special exam centres) are currently made by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) who will advise you, on behalf of IRM, where and at what time you should report for the examinations.

Admission slips for the June 2009 examinations are being despatched week beginning 20 April. Any students who have not received their admission slip by 18 May must telephone the Education Team.

Overseas exam centres

When completing the Certificate or Diploma application form, students must indicate at which examination centre they prefer to sit their examinations. Students who do not indicate their preference will automatically be allocated the nearest centre to their correspondence address. Where centres no longer exist, students will be contacted for an alternative choice.

Special exam centres

If an examination centre doesn't exist in your area or country, the Institute may be able to assist overseas students in arranging a special exam centre. To attend a special centre, students MUST download and complete the special centre application form below and submit it with their application form. Where such arrangements are made, candidates may be required to pay any local supplementary charges. The IRM and ICSA are NOT liable to cover any additional costs. Special centres are not available in the UK.
